I had a great birthday this year! I think part of my excitement was that my birthday was on a Saturday. So great not to have to work on your birthday.
Rodger took me to breakfast at a dinner not too far from our house and then we spent the day lounging around and watching movies. Rodger's sister and cousins stopped by and Anna gave me these sweet treats.
That night Rodger took me to dinner at Houston's in Pasadena, one of my favorite restaurants. What a great meal we had! I especially love their cheese bread and salad.
We ended the night watching a movie and hanging out.
The next day my Mom, Vickie and her family, my Aunt and Uncle, and Grandpa came over and we went to lunch. I got so many nice things from everyone. It was so sweet.
This was the first year not having either of my grandmothers here for my birthday, it was strange not to get a call from them or a card in the mail. I miss them so much. But it was nice to have my Grandpa there.
All in all though it was a special birthday. Another year older and wiser.
