I love Sundays!

I love Sundays, especially ones like today. It's nice to feel like it's not a complete waste of a day to take a couple of naps. I don't mind wasting time by watching dumb movies like "RV" or looking at the Internet for a couple of hours. I can justify this by saying it's Sunday, a day to relax and spend getting rested for the next week.

I did do one thing productive- I called my grandma. And I may also run on the treadmill later. So that would be two things productive. And I am also writing this blog. So there is three things right there that were part of my New Year's resolutions.

Now I am going to go read and keep one eye on the Super Bowl. Not because I care about the game but so that I can see some of the commercials, watch The Boss at half-time, have some idea what happened in the game so that I can talk about it with everyone at work tomorrow, and most importantly so that when the game is over I can watch "The Office".

Here's to restful Sundays.

I used to love Sundays. Then I had 2 kids and our church schedule changed to 1 p.m. (during their naps). So, it's definitely not a day of rest for us...at all. Although Matt lets me sleep in sometimes. Luckily we have Monday to recover. Monday is my official recovery day.

And, next January we'll be back at 9 a.m. church and the Sunday nap will be back for all of us. Only 11 months to go.

I vote for the 3 day weekend. Seriously, America needs to jump on that bandwagon.

I am on the bandwagon for that.

I agree. I have said many times when whoever was setting up the work week ( and they must have had choices) why didn't they go for four days of work and three days off? I mean it seems someone could have been more creative.
