Disneyland Wedding Getaway

Apparently I am done posting pictures of the wedding (for now anyway). So I will post pictures of when we went to Disneyland for a couple of nights after our wedding.

We were so excited to stay at the Disneyland Hotel. It was something we have always wanted to do and this seemed like a perfect time to do it.

This was the best feature of the room. You could turn on the headboard and it would light up and play "When you wish upon a star".

Sunday night and Monday we went to the park. We also went in the pool and walked around the shops.

We got to have dinner at the Napa Rose. The food was excellent.

We had  a great time save for the fact that I was sick for most of it. The week before the wedding most of my coworkers came down with the flu. Like a fever and chest cold. I knew it was a matter of time before I got it. The days leading up to the wedding I was loading up on vitamin C as much as I could but by Sunday night I had a sore throat and by Monday night the fever hit me like a ton of bricks. I woke up all night alternating between freezing and sweating. But it was nice to be sick under a beautiful picture of Walt Disney.

Tuesday we had wanted to go to the park but I was too sick so we headed home. I wish I hadn't been sick but it was still a lot of fun and the hotel there is amazing! We definitely plan to go back and I would defintely recommend any Disney fan to stay there. It certainly is magical.

They gave us balloons and "Just Married" buttons which one of us wore and one of us refused to wear.

We went to the Storytellers Cafe for breakfast on Monday morning.

My Dad gave us Disney dollars to spend.
