Hawaiian Honeymoon- Day Four (Kauai)

Opaekaa Falls

Once again I am not able to get the pictures in the best order and they are all at the beginning of the post. Sorry.

We continue to relax, relax, and relax some more. This morning we drove to some falls close by our hotel. You don't have to hike to them. You just pull of the road and there is a scenic overlook. There is a lot of animal life here on Kauai. More roosters and chickens then you could ever count and cows and horses. Also, it will get really cloudy and stormy and start raining out of nowhere. Then five to ten minutes later it will stop and get sunny again.

We went tubing this afternoon along one rivers here. They drove us up to the river and gave us a tube and guided us through the river and through dark tunnels. During the last ten minutes of the river it started to rain. It really was beautiful. A definite unforgettable moment. A little cold and would have been nice if we had brought towels but still so fun! They gave us lunch afterwards and drove us back. It was a great adventure. I have always wanted to go tubing along a river and Kauai certainly was a great place to do that for the first time.

Tonight we had dinner at a seafood restaurant and now we are back at the hotel lounge/bar using the free Wi-Fi. There is a Hawaiian singer who performs here every night. He just sang Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called to Say I Love You", which is my Grandma Garrett's and my song. I am going to take it as a sign that she is looking down on us and happy that we are on our honeymoon.

Now he just dedicated a song to us. (The Honeymooners).

Tomorrow afternoon we fly to Maui. We are very excited about that.
