Rodger turned 26 on the 28th of last month (only 2 more years till the "golden" birthday or is it the "star" birthday.
We went out to dinner with his family on his birthday and then the next night we went out to dinner with my parents. There were cakes and presents.
Pictures from the festivities.

The picture of the girl stretching was not a gift or anything. Just a something that I ripped out of a magazine and forgot to put away (because I am so busy stretching).
The cake I made Rodger. In my head it was supposed to look like a Nestle Sundae cone but it went wrong in a few ways. First the whole cake wouldn't come out of the pan so I couldn't cut it into a triangle cone shape, then the frosting was a lot darker than I thought it was going to be, etc, etc. Good news though, it tasted really good. Like I always say, it's the thought that counts.

Wouldn't it be sad to be born on the first, and then your golden birthday would come and go it the very beginning of your life?
Also, Ryan said the cake looks like a tree.
