Something is wrong with me this morning.
I went to 7-11 and got a soda. I went to the donut store and got a donut. As I was getting in my car to leave the lady from 7-11 came out to tell me that I didn't pay for my soda. Apparently I just walked right out. I don't even remember that. I usually don't embarrass easily but I was pretty mortified as I took the "walk of shame" back into 7-11 where everyone knew I had stolen a soda. I wanted to cry and I apologized about a hundred times.
I even said "I swear I am not a thief". To which the lady replied "I know, you are a good customer." At least she didn't make me feel bad.
I leave to get in my car and as is protocol I can't find my car key. I went back to 7-11 to check if I left it there and nothing and as I am heading back to the donut store I see it the key in my car door. I guess the 7-11 lady startled me and I left it in there.
I don't know where my head was.
Then I just came home for lunch and realized I had left my television on all morning.
And then I went to take my trash out and my house key was in the door lock.
I'm telling you, sometimes I even surprise myself.

Oh, well. At least she didn't call the police on you. Maybe its because you have such an honest face.
Speaking of keys...am I ever going to get that key to your mother's house back so you can call me the next time you lose that one, too???
