Beach Cruisin'

I need a beach cruiser. Want, need, the line is kind of a blur on this one.

I have wanted one for a while even though I don't live that close to the beach. I live relatively close but not like my lucky cousin Beth, who lives minutes from the beach and owns a beach cruiser. I would have to actually put the bike in my car and drive to the beach and then go cruisin. Would it even fit in my car?? Maybe somebody would have to drive me to the beach with my cruiser and then I could go cruisin. At any rate this has been a dream of mine for a while. I can just see myself, wind in my hair (no helmet, beach cruisers are too cool for them) biking around the beach or even just around town.

I feel my beach cruiser should be pink, although the teal blue one is also very appealing and I feel that it should have a basket so that Sushi can go cruisin with me or I could put some groceries in it.

I am going to take some time to think about this one. I do feel I need it but I want to make sure that I would put it to good use and I want to find a good deal. I am on a budget these days. But I feel that it would just be a wonderful addition to my life.

The more I think about it the more I realize the question isn't "should I get one?" The real question is "how have I gone this long without one?"

you should definitely get a cruiser! Tami keeps hers in my garage and uses it down here by the beach and you are more than welcome to do the same :) Here is a really cute on from craigslist: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/bik/1138059796.html

Happy hunting!

for sure you can use it at home as well as at the beach.

when matt and i stayed at a beach house with his family a few years ago, we rented cruisers. it was so much fun. i think i need one too! plus a bike trailer for my kids. maybe it wouldn't be quite the same carefree ride then, but oh well.
