Vegas, Vegas, Vegas

Two weeks ago my brother-in-law had a birthday and we all went to Vegas to celebrate. Vickie and Paul flew out earlier in the week to meet his family there, my parents drove out Thursday morning, and Rodger and I drove out late Thursday night. We left around 10pm. I was a little concerned with this as usually that is my bed time. Even if I didn't have to drive I was worried that if I fell asleep then so would Rodger. My mind kept flashing to this scene from "National Lampoon's Vacation"

You know when every one's asleep and they pan to Clark and he is passed out too. I envisioned this being us. But I was proud of myself. I stayed awake the whole time and the drive went really fast. We got to Vegas a little before 2am.

The weekend was full of daiquiris, gambling, food, visiting, walking, and birthday fun. Oh yeah and a Laker's win over the Jazz.

Friday we layed out by the pool, walked around, ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, looked around the Aria, had dinner with my Grandpa and Chrissy, gambled, and walked to the Belagio water show.

Saturday we walked to the Venitian and looked around other hotels/casinos, took a little nap, gambled, and had dinner with the whole group at the Cheesecake Factory in Cesar's Palace. After that we walked around the Forum Shops and went back to our hotel (the Monte Carlo) and gambled.

Mom got crunk.

Sunday morning we left to go home. Such a fun Vegas trip! Paul, you can have a birthday anytime.

*Also, big shout out to Jenn for taking care of The Sush. It is much appreciated.
