Rodger and I went to his cousin Mindy's wedding on Saturday. Her husband's family has a pear business in Washington so the theme of their wedding was pears. The ceremony was at the Arboretum so the peacocks were aplenty. It was a great location to have a wedding, just so beautiful. Rodger and I were in charge of the guest book and having people sign the engagement photo.

The reception was at a Chinese seafood restaurant. It was like a 7 course meal with the best scallops I have ever had. Everyone got to take home a pear and they had M & Ms imprinted with their name.

Mindy changed into a traditional Chinese dress. How cool is her cake?
Rodger and Kiera (she is so cute!)
This is the poem that was on their wedding program, I really like it-
"Two such as you with such a master speed, Cannot be parted nor be swept away, From one another once you are agreed, That life is only life forevermore, Together wing to wing and oar to oar." -Robert Frost "The Master Speed"

It was a great wedding and I had such a nice time with Rodger and his family.
