I Pity the Fool

April Fool's Day went something like this for me-

-My mom waking me up saying the power went out and we were late for work. Followed by "April Fools!".

-Had she not done this I wouldn't have thought that I needed to play a joke on someone. So I called Rodger and asked him if he had heard the news that Kobe Bryant was in a car accident and broke his leg so he would be out the rest of the season. Anybody that knows Rodger knows that Kobe is the second love of his life (j/k) but Kobe, Pao, and the rest of the Lakers are a huge deal to Rodger. Well he didn't really buy it and said he was playing along with me to make me feel good. Oh well, I tried.

-I read online that Eliza was having triplets. Very interesting turn of events, I'll be honest my heart did jump when I read it. How awesome would that be?

-Apparently as recourse for my "Kobe joke" Rodger emailed me and told me there was no room for me at his cousin's wedding this weekend. This pretty much ruined my whole afternoon as I had been really excited about it and bought a new dress and shoes. Rodger didn't break on this one and had me completely convinced. A few hours later he told me it was a joke and that's what I get for talking about Kobe.

-When I got home I decided I should hide my dad's mountain bike and tell him it was missing. This sort of worked but mostly he just looked so sad I felt bad and then I had to lug the heavy thing back to the garage.

So all and all a good April Fool's day. I am already thinking about next year's pranks. Maybe I can tell everyone I am pregnant and my baby is a hermaphrodite. That's just one idea. Give me a year and I will come up with something better.
