Storm Watch 2008

I know I am no Paul Moyer and like him and other news anchors I won't stir anyone into a panic over the stormy weather but this weather is crazy!

Last night it poured and then around 5 am it hailed really hard. Outside this morning there is ice on roofs, hail on the ground, and what I am willing to be bet was snow at my favorite local gas station. I have a picture on my camera phone but can't figure out how to upload it to my computer. Being that we never have actual snow on the ground here I can't say for sure whether it was snow or hail.

When I talked to Rodger at lunch he said that the Eyewitness news what at MY gas station. I can't believe I missed it. I would have loved to have been there to get a soda and talk with my friends who worked there about being on tv.

This is fun weather to be having especially given the fact that we had almost no rain last year but I wish this could have been last week because Rodger and I were planning on going to Disneyland this weekend for his birthday and according to the forecast it will be raining and I don't want to stand around like a drowned rat there. Oh well, we will come up with something else fun to do and go to Disneyland another time.

Also, they added the clip at my gas station to their website so here it is if you want to check it out- http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=weather&id=5912431

Well, Miss Katie, I am sure your friends at the gas station would have loved for you to be there. I am now sure it was snow, too. Dad said a bunch of people were commenting on the snow on the roofs on their way to work. Pretty neat. Think I will E-mail Paul and Val in Mammoth and let them know we will probably be skiing in Monrovia on Saturday.
