Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great. In the morning my parents, Rodger, and I went on a bike ride. This was a tradition my family had, to go on a bike ride every Thanksgiving morning, but for the past few years or so we haven't done it. So this year we gave it a kick start. It was a fun ride, although it was extremely cold. We missed Vickie on our ride though. Maybe next year.
Afterwards we came home to cook. I made the Green Bean Casserole.

For dinner my parents, Vickie, and I went to my Grandma's house. There were 18 of us there. We gained 2 this year because 2 of my cousins got married. The food was great , I ate so much! My mom's yams were my favorite.

I had such a nice time at my Grandma's house. It was great to see everyone and catch up on each others lives. I can't wait until Christmas to see everyone again.

When we left my Grandma's house we went over to my Aunt Peggy's for dessert and to see my mom's side of the family. That was fun also. We had dessert, talked, and watched the USC game. My cousins, Vickie, and I also drew names for our Secret Santa exchange on Christmas Eve.

Me and Cory

I pretty much ate from 1pm-8pm straight. Family and food- a perfect way to spend Thanksgiving. And then I fell asleep early as a result of my food coma, which worked out well because we had to be ready for the "day after Thanksgiving" shopping. Target at 5:45am. (Another family tradition). I love it.
