Nice Little Saturday

It was a nice HOT California day yesterday so Rodger and I went swimming. I have no pictures of this but you can take my word for it that it was a lot of fun and very refreshing.

After that we went down to Orange County for a BBQ at Rodger's cousin's house. She had a baby about a month ago so they were celebrating her arrival.

This is Keira. She is super cute and I had so much fun hanging out with her. I don't want to brag but I think she liked me a lot. I got to feed her, change her diaper, and rock her to sleep.

It reminded me of hanging out with this guy a few monthes ago and I also used some of Eliza's techniques with Theo. I would press the little pacifier in her mouth like Eliza did. It seemed to work to get her to suck on it.

She was just so sweet. I can't wait to hang out with her again.

Here are some more pictures of the BBQ, well really they're only of the baby.

That is a CUTE baby!

It's so funny that the last time you saw Theo he was less than 3 months old!! He is so different now! He is much less cuddly but more interactive, which is fun.

You will notice that with Keira too. It's like I blinked and all of a sudden he's sitting up on his own and eating food out of a spoon. ACK!

OK just kidding because I guess you saw him in CA he was 4 months old. But he is still different! ;)

Try blinking and all of a sudden you've got an eight year old! A surly, going on 15, eight year old.

Oh man, I remember the day my FIFTEEN YEAR OLD niece was born! I used to fantasize about what it would be like when I was old enough to drive her around and take her shopping and stuff, and now I am, but I hardly see her...sigh.

Anyway, soon enough we'll all have kids, and then they'll grow up and we'll be dancing the YMCA in pastel shift dresses at their weddings and shaking our heads at what the kids are wearing these days. Oh yeah, it will be good times.
