Light Festival at Griffith Park

On Saturday night Rodger and I went to the Light Festival at Griffith Park. The DWP sets it up and you can either walk or drive through it. We walked through it. It was great, so many great displays and fun Christmas songs.

Pictures from Last Weekend

Last weekend was a busy one. Friday night Rodger and I went to my work Christmas party at Buca Di Beppo in City Walk.

On Saturday my parents, Rodger, and I went for a day trip to Las Vegas to see my Grandpa and his wife Chrissy. It was fun but cold but a lot of fun. We had lunch with them and then we went to the strip to walk around.

We went to the Bellagio where they decorate for Christmas and everything is made of flowers.

Sunday night we went to Vickie and Paul's house so that all 6 of us could be together to exchange Christmas presents. We went to a great Italian place for dinner and then went back to their place to hang out and open presents.

It was a great weekend and was a fun jumpstart to Christmas!

I know this makes me a horrible person but......

Wouldn't you just love to read the Spears family Christmas card? I bet it has a big picture of a lighted up trailer on it.

On Sunday my dad and Rodger did the Tinsel Triathlon in Hemet. This was Rodger's first triathlon and he did so great. I am so proud of him. My dad did well also, he got 7th in his age group.

It was a very cold morning and there was tons of steam coming off of the pool. I was glad I was just watching and didn't have to actually do anything. My mom and I were there just to cheer them on.

The run was first, then the bike, then the swim.
